Dates

16–23 November 2026 — 7 nights, Reunion Week 1.

What it is

We dock in La Romana on Sunday 16 November. The recommended path is to travel north-east the same day to Las Terrenas — a chilled-out beachfront town on the Samaná Peninsula with a strong French/Italian food scene and walkable beaches. Slow mornings, long lunches, beach swims, sunset drinks, and the easiest meet-ups you've ever had.

🏝️ Want to head straight to Cabarete? No problem — you can skip Las Terrenas and travel directly from La Romana to Cabarete on 16 November, then stay there for the full reunion (~3 weeks). It's a popular option for anyone who wants to settle into one place from day one, dive into the work + kite + reunion energy right away, and skip the mid-trip move.

Recommended area & Hotels — Las Terrenas

Keep an eye on the app (launching in August) for meet-up sign-ups and last-minute plans.

⚠️ A note on Wi-Fi (tropical reality check)

Las Terrenas and Cabarete are small-towns in tropical Caribbean — Wi-Fi is generally OK but not always at the speed/reliability nomads are used to in major cities or coworking-first destinations. Storms, power blips and channel congestion are part of life here, and what's working great one week can be patchy the next.

💻 Coworking in Las Terrenas

COMÚN CoWork — The main coworking space in town. Fibre internet 400 Mbps down / 100 Mbps up, backup power, AC, call rooms, natural lighting, coffee/microwave/fridge/printer. 24/7 access for members. Plaza Coco y Mango, C. 27 de Febrero #5 — about 3 minutes from the beach.
