If you're joining your first Nomad Cruise, congratulations! You're about to embark on a unique adventure that's both exciting and rewarding. Here are some tips to help you make the most of your experience:

  1. Arrive early and stay longer - Nomad Cruise is not just about the cruise itself, but the connections you make before and after the event. If you have the time, stick around and travel with the community. This is a great opportunity to make deeper connections and explore new destinations with fellow nomads. More info about our reunions will be added later.
  2. Embrace the FOMO - When you first join a cruise, it's common to feel overwhelmed by the seemingly endless array of options available to you. While this can be exciting, it can also be stressful and you may feel like you need to be everywhere at once to get the most out of your experience. Instead of trying to do everything, consider embracing the Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO) and focusing on the activities and events that truly resonate with you. So don't be afraid to say no to certain activities or take some time for yourself - your cruise experience will be all the more rewarding as a result. 😊
  3. Bring as little work as possible - while we understand that many of you run a business or work remotely, we recommend bringing as little work as possible. You can really make the most of the cruise by focusing on connections and taking time to recharge. This is an opportunity to step away from work and fully immerse yourself in the experience.
  4. Organize a meetup - We encourage all participants to organize a meetup during the conference. Meetups have always been a big part of our tradition, and we're excited to introduce a new addition to our already exciting lineup: dinner meetups. This is your opportunity to connect with others who share your interests and passions.
  5. Get to know your fellow nomads - one of the biggest benefits of the Nomad Cruise is the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals from around the world. Take advantage of social events and activities to meet new people and make meaningful connections. One of the best ways to connect with other participants during the conference is by attending the seated dinners. These dinners provide an excellent opportunity to meet new people and exchange ideas. To make the most out of the experience, try sitting with a different group each night. So, don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and mingle with the crowd. You never know what exciting opportunities might arise!
  6. Don't forget to have fun - while it's important to take advantage of the networking opportunities and workshops, don't forget to enjoy the onboard activities and excursions. It's a unique and memorable experience, so take it all in and have fun! In addition, there will be other opportunities for entertainment, such as improv theatre, talent shows, and numerous casual meetups that will pop up as we go. So, make sure to keep an eye out for these events and take part in as many as you can to fully immerse yourself in the Nomad Cruise experience!
