We will be arriving in Yokohama with the cruise and we recommend staying here for the first 1-4 nights to begin our journey in Japan together. Yokohama is a fantastic starting point because it's not as busy or crowded as Tokyo. Plus, it's very easy to get there since we will be arriving right in the city center. A short cab ride will take you to your accommodation, making your arrival stress-free and convenient. Additionally you can decide if you want to stick around in Yokohama a bit longer after arrival and explore Tokyo from there, as it is only a 30-min train ride away from Yokohama.

Yokohama offers a blend of modern attractions and historical charm, providing a perfect introduction to Japan. It boasts stunning waterfront views, diverse dining options, and a vibrant atmosphere without the overwhelming hustle of Tokyo. Below, you can find some highlights in Yokohama that we recommend exploring. Please use our online community if you want to find others to enjoy these activities together and coordinate.
