2. Complete Your Payment by Nov 1

The full amount for your ticket is due by Nov 14. It is very important that you complete payment on time so we can pay our suppliers. Late payment will result in the cancellation of your ticket. Find all info on payment and due dates in Payment Info.

3. Review Visa Requirements

No visa is required for Antarctica. Only visa restrictions for Argentina apply. Please check whether you need to obtain visas prior to departure based on your nationality and the countries you'll be visiting. It is your sole responsibility to obtain the necessary visas and entry requirements before departing your home country. Please don’t leave this to the last minute because visa applications can take a while.

New Entry Requirements for Argentina (Effective July 1, 2025)

Starting July 1, 2025, Argentina will require all foreign travelers to present:

1. Valid Health Insurance covering:
   • General and emergency medical care
   • Hospitalization for illness or accidents
   • 24/7 medical assistance
   • Medical transfers if needed
   • Coverage must extend through the entire stay and include coverage for unexpected events (e.g., flight cancellations, lost luggage)
2. Proof of Onward Travel - such as a return ticket or confirmed departure itinerary.
3. Accommodation Details - either a confirmed booking or the address of where the traveler will stay in Argentina.

These documents must be shown at all entry points, including airports, border crossings, ports, and land checkpoints. Argentine citizens and permanent residents are exempt.

Make sure your passport is valid at least 6 months when entering Argentina and includes min. 2 blank pages.

4. Get a Travel Insurance

It is compulsory for every participant to obtain travel insurance before embarking on this journey and must include coverage for hospitalization, isolation, and evacuation. While we hope that everything goes smoothly during the trip, unforeseen circumstances such as medical emergencies, cancellations, and lost or stolen belongings can happen at any time. Travel insurance can provide you with peace of mind and financial protection in case something unexpected occurs. With travel insurance, you can enjoy your Nomad Cruise experience to the fullest, knowing that you're covered in case of any mishaps. To ensure a safe and secure journey, your insurance policy must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Medical evacuation coverage of at least USD 200,000 per person.
• Proof of insurance, as ther expedition staff may need to verify this on board.
• Coverage for all pre-existing health conditions, medical treatments, and evacuations in every area visited during the voyage.
