The cruise is just the beginning, and we highly recommend staying a bit longer in and around Salvador after our arrival. This way, you can team up with others and experience Brazil and South America together with your new friends.
While we won't be hosting formal programs post-cruise, we still want to make it easier for you to connect with others and explore beautiful places together.
Therefore we have put together a list of reunions and places that we highly recommend visiting on your journey, to make sure you'll have fellow cruisers nearby to share in the adventure.
We also understand that many of you prefer to hurry back home to spend Christmas with your family. In that case we would still recommend to visit Rio de Janeiro before leaving Brazil.
Christmas and New Year's are the busiest travel periods, so we highly recommend finalizing your plans soon and making reservations on Airbnb or Booking.com.
If you're still unsure, book a place that offers free cancellation to give yourself some time to decide on the final plan.
Tipp: If you are looking to share accommodation with other nomads, you will also have the opportunity to connect with everyone in the Nomad Cruise 12 Facebook Group that we will start one month before departure. This will still give you enough time to find good opportunities to stay at and get everything sorted before departure.
We recommend taking a few days after the cruise to stay in Salvador and explore this beautiful city. After a day of rest, we will have our first reunion.
Salvador has an international airport, so in case you need to head back home, research the departing flights from here. You can also fly onwards to Rio from here.
